Instagram "Oops, and error occurred" - My solution to fix this issue and regain full access 2024

I went through the same shit as everyone else. I got the white screen that says "Oops, an error occurred " and lost access to using my Instagram account despite being logged in.

long story short, log in on an incognito browser, go to your email that mentions someone logged into your account, click secure and change your password.

make sure you remember the password for obvious reasons.

you will not have complete access yet but don't worry. You already were able to change your password and confirm your information and that's a step closer to gaining full access.

close the incognito browser, re open and log back in.
you will get an email.
click on the option to secure your account again and this time try and change password. when it gives you the option to, go back and confirm your profile information is correct.
you should regain full access.

I don't know why this is an issue but there's ways to get back. try new things, think outside the box and break the mold.
