Campervan Trip - Camp Gadget in the YorkShire Dales

After Camp Turkey it was our turn to organise the next camping event, so I was up for that challenge and set out to find the right location to allow us to have a good weekend. I tried to get the campsite in Wales we recently visited buy they'd lost their council permit for camping, so I ended up choosing The Dalesbridge http://www.dalesbridge.co.uk and the owner, Ross, was really nice and sectioned off part of their smaller field for our own use.

Invited lots of old faces and some new ones too, sadly some couldn't make it and some just never turned up. It's always nice to meet new people and Colin & Darran were chatting to everyone and seemed right at home, so that was great to see.

So let's get on with the weekends shenanigans. Friday was a pizza cooking challenge set by Daryl & Keith, sat around camp fires and then the bar on the campsite openened for us as it was very cold. Saturday we had 6 drones flying around, no one crashed and we all got some great flying time and good shots. We then went to Austwick for a walk and lunch at the Game Cock, then back to the campsite to get ready for the Boondockers 1K boost livestream. Another night of campfire chit chat and some youtube screening with the projector on Mevis shiny clean van. Sunday we said goodbye to Darran, Daryl & Keith and Kev at the campsite and the rest of us headed to Ingleton for a bit of lunch and ended the day walking around the Ribblehead Viaduct and then said our goodbyes to everyone and headed home.
