Are Costco's Shelves Empty Again? - Preparing for Lockdown in Oregon - Prepping for Non-Preppers

🧬 I went to Costco this weekend and everything seemed pretty normal, which was an encouraging sign that people had either prepared already or had come to terms with ordering online, curbside pickup, and/or making limited trips. However, as the weekend came to a close I started getting messages from friends, family, and community members that supplies were running low and shelves were totally bare.

🧬 With many states facing lockdowns, shutdowns, freezes, or just increased restrictions this week in response to COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations spiking, lots of people are stocking up on food and supplies to limit their need to go out. Last Spring I did a series of videos that toured Costco and Target to see what this panic buying looked like.

🧬 This video is a return to Costco to look at what's really happening, and if food and supplies are still available.

🧬 Here are the areas that have recently enacted new guidelines and restrictions: Oregon, Washington, California, Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, Illinois, California, Maryland, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania. and Idaho It is predicted that many other states will join in as hospital systems start to strain and overflow including Kansas, North Dakota, and Utah.
