Hi guys! Welcome back. These 9 looks are making me feel so good right now. I think you should try them.

Today’s video is about creating simple, chic, easy outfits that are very 90s-inspired, dare I say CBK-inspired, for work, weekend, date night, and beyond.

I styled nine 90s-inspired CBK looks around one bag, the Gabrielle East-West Shoulder Bag by Parisa Wang. We are talking vintage Levi’s, structured shorts, simple jewelry, and only two pairs of shoes!

Proving you do NOT need a ton of pieces to create impactful looks that work for date night, client meetings, casual spring days, and elegant evenings on vacation.

All of these looks are built around one bag. I’ve found that when you have the right foundation piece, getting dressed stops feeling chaotic and starts feeling intentional.

These are minimalist looks that you don’t have to think a lot about when putting together.

And some are very (intentionally/unintentionally) Caroline Bessett Kennedy inspired. Not that I was necessarily trying to channel her style, but the looks do indeed reference a few of her silhouettes.

Lately, it’s been so hot here in Tennessee that I’ve needed to wear as little as possible without showing too much skin.

Enter Bermuda shorts, which are so new to me. I think Bermuda shorts are a great alternative to slacks for the office in warmer temps. They have a similar tailored vibe but are so much more breathable.

You can style these as you would trousers, but you can also style them more casually with sneakers or sandals.

There’s lots to get into in this video, and I really hope you enjoy it. A lot of my clients are young moms who work in a creative professional environment, so they need outfits that are easy to wear, but that also make them stand out as creative leaders.

That’s who I was really thinking about while making this video. But even if you’re not in a creative field, you can still get a lot of great outfit ideas here…especially if you have either a vacation coming up or need to look more polished.
