Surprise Engagement Dance Party Flash Mob | Aaron & Chris | Gay Wedding Proposal | Raleigh, N.C.

When Aaron contacted us in regard to capturing a "surprise engagement dance party flash mob" after he proposed to Chris, we were instantly on board! This adorable gay couple spent the morning away having an intimate proposal, while friends from all across the country were at Chris' parents' house, quietly hashing a plan that would blow this couple away.

Aaron had friends and family fly into the Raleigh, N.C. area from all over the U.S. - from California to Montana to Ohio - and had a family member put together a choreographed surprise flash mob to celebrate the newly engaged men. Complete with giant head props, smoke bombs, pom poms, a glitter beard, maracas and tambourines, this celebration was sure to be a giant party that surprised Chris.

Out front, Chris' brother set up his drum set to tap along to the beat of the music, while another friend strummed away on his guitar in the background.

As the couple pulled up and stepped out, Chris stumbled around in confusion with a blindfold covering his eyes. He had no clue where Aaron had brought him and nervously followed along while the crowd sat quietly awaiting.

Aaron threw up a sign, indicating that Chris had said YES!

The crowd cheered, and Aaron ripped the blindfold away, uncovering Chris' vision.

The music kicked in, and the dancing was on its way. Giant heads bobbled back and forth, smoke bombs filled the air with a colorful celebration of joy, and the choreography executed perfectly.

After 4 minutes of pure joyful celebration via a surprise dance party, the flash mob ended, and the couple felt truly amazed they were blessed with such incredible friends and family. Hugs went out freely, and the two joined on the front stairs of the cabin as Aaron's brother and Chris' father shared heartfelt words of congratulations.

This surprise celebration of this newly engaged couple was, without a doubt, one of the best moments in our filming career.
