Dr. Onyango Professor and Scholar, Notre Dame University

Dr. Onyango was my supervisor in one of the high-level institutions I taught at when I was a professor of Writing, Social Media, Advertising, Creative Writing, and Thesis Completion, in Miami, FL. But more than that, he was a friend. He was kind, humble, a true example of generosity with words and with giving. He and I clicked immediately. I remember that he would speak with clarity of his profession, his students, and his beautiful family. I laughed now, because I remember one of my previous supervisors, year ago, saying that work was work and there was no room to talk about family. Not him, he was smart enough to embrace both worlds, at work. I learned so much from his way of being as an individual and as a professor with a PhD, that I take his lessons in my heart and soul every single day of my life.
