My struggle with Insecurity - Finding My Confidence in God

In this video, I share about how insecurity has been something I've battled all my life because of certain things I did not like about myself. 'You are beautiful, you are unique, you are loved'. Although these are encouraging sayings, however to me, they always seemed to fall short. God has personally taught me by pushing me outside of my comfort zone and into a difficult and a VERY insecure chapter of my life, so I could learn to find my comfort in Him ALONE. He is the One who has set me free from condemnation and comparison, hustling to be liked and trying to be perfect. He is the One with me every time I feel tempted to listen to my feelings or the lies the rest of the world defines as 'secure'. Because of God's deep work in me, it is His voice alone that I hear much louder then the rest of the world. I give Him all he glory for helping me find a strong foundation in Him alone.

2 Samuel 23:3 The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! Exalted be my God, the Rock, my Savior!

Streams in the Desert:
God uses trouble to teach His children precious lessons. Difficulties are intended to educate us, and when their good work is done, a glorious reward will become ours through them. There is a sweet joy and a real value in difficulties, for He regards them not as difficulties but as opportunities.

There are two ways of getting out of a trial. One is simply to try to get rid of the trial, and then to be thankful when it is over. The other is to recognize the trial as a challenge from God to claim a larger blessing than we have ever before experienced, and to accept it with delight as an opportunity of receiving a greater measure of God's divine grace.
