Tools and equipment I used
2 12-quart canning pots (the ones I use are a graniteware enameled pot from the hardware store, the other is a fancier 4-piece pasta pot from Bed Bath & Beyond). Since these are 3-gallon pots, they can hold 2 gallons of water plus the fleece very comfortably.
Laundry Alternative Ninja Spin Dryer https://amzn.to/3JsArEp
Cuisinart CB-30P1 Cast-Iron Single Burner https://amzn.to/3NN3G7z
Mesh laundry bags to hold the wool https://amzn.to/3XlmQVa
Taylor Digital Kitchen Thermometer (to monitor water temperature as it's heated) https://amzn.to/44aWFCG
Large bath sheet to wrap around the scouring pot, keep water temperature consistent
Bucket for hauling hot tap water
measuring spoon
I bought the rare breed raw wools from Fiber Curio: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FiberCurio
