‘Pig-headed’: Labor will not ‘move’ on billion-dollar revenue petrol tax cut
Sky News host Paul Murray slams the Labor government for their budget surplus while telling Australians on TV they will not “move” on lowering petrol taxes.
“I have also been banging on for some time that this government is in a position to cut petrol taxes,” he said.
“Three billion bucks, he is going to have a surplus and remember if the surplus is anything over $3 billion, then he has got the room to move, but he won’t move, in fact he is even telling us on television he won’t move on a tax that his government doubled since they came to office.”
