This Box Is Now Made With Less Material

The box is allegedly made with less material, but this statement doesn't mean much if we don't know what it uses less material than. It seems as though it's being compared to an absolutely gigantic box.
I suppose this package is overall better than the plastic padded envelopes as this is at least compostable, but it's still ridiculous.
