Favourite Routines: Oksana Knizhnik - Beam 1994

I love Oksana's beam routine from the qualifications at the 1994 Worlds. Her ring jump is the best I've ever seen and her split position is beautiful too and the routine had great acro elements and originality as well. All of this was ignored by the judges who gave her a 9.537 making her 5th reserve for the beam final. The only final she reached was the vault, where she was withdrawn to allow Tatiana Lysenko to compete. I am still bitter about all this, as you may be able to tell.
