Nicolle Flint urges Australians to ‘ignore’ budget and consider whether they are ‘better off’
Liberal candidate for Boothby Nicolle Flint has urged Australians to “ignore” Labor’s budget and think about whether they are “better off”.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers will hand down the federal budget on Tuesday, May 14.
“The clearest message I can send to all our viewers at home tonight is that you might as well ignore whatever Labor are saying,” Ms Flint told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“What you need to think about is, are you better off after this budget and, unfortunately, the Australian people won’t be.”
