Hello darlings!! I am so very excited to finally bring this video to my channel! If you have been following me for a while then you will maybe know that I am a fully fledged Blair Waldorf minion. I absolutely adore her style and so have been putting together ideas for this video for about 4/5 months haha! I actually rewatched the entire Gossip Girl series in preparation...
SO. I have compiled my own notes on what are the features of Blair's Style so I will list everything down below.

This is actually only part one of this video as I had too much to get through and my camera ran out of battery haha! Some things in the notes I will discuss in next week's video!

My Blair Waldorf Style Notes:

Here is how I would describe Blair's style:

Blair's style is polished, coordinated and perfectly accessorised. It's feminine, sophisticated, elegant and definitely expensive looking. Even though the show is over 10 years old I believe Blair's outfits still look wearable meaning overall her style is classic and timeless.

Her style draws inspiration from her idol Audrey Hepburn so you can look to her for further Blair outfit ideas.

Her style features a lot of these following elements. Wearing items with these details will definitely be a good start in portraying Blair and her style.

Features:
- Lace
- Ruffles
- Bows
- Pops of colour
- Tweed
- Check
- high heels or ballet flats
- Patterns (strong florals or houndstooth or even fruit patterns)

The following list is items I noticed whilst rewatching the show that she wear frequently. For example, you don't see her wearing t-shirts you would see her wearing a detailed blouse.

Clothing Items:

- Jackets or coats with Peter Pan Collars or no collar or embellished collars
- Blouses (Go for neck tie's for the Constance look)
- Hats (Particularly a beret)
- Tights (coloured e.g red or white or lacy patterned)
- A co-ord set - A lot of what she wears is fairly matchy-matchy and so a co ord (in tweed or something similar) will definitely emulate her style
- Pencil skirts - Blair's style usually features a nipped in waist and a soft hourglass silhouette. A pencil skirt is a perfect way of creating this figure
- Skirts and dresses in general - Blair hardly wears trouser and never jeans! I only counted Blair in trousers 2 or 3 times throughout the entire series
