A profile of the residents of Crystal Falls, Michigan during the harsh winter months. Originally aired as a news series on WDIV-TV, then recut as a documentary that aired on December 31, 1983. Reported by legendary journalist Bob Pisor, the documentary profiles loggers, hunters, a transplanted musician, and various unique U.P. characters.
