佛眼佛母（Buddha-locanī）亦名虛空眼佛母（Gagana-locanī），亦名「佛眼大金剛吉祥一切佛母」，是佛教密宗中的女性本尊，為大日如來所化現、釋迦如來所化現、金剛薩埵所化現，三種記載。

佛母能孕諸佛，同於一切如來與諸菩薩之母，即為般若佛母的另一個面相。她生具一切如來功德，在現圖大悲胎藏生曼荼羅中佛眼佛母位於遍知院與釋迦院，在遍知院她乃大日如來之母而等同於「大悲胎藏」，俱足五眼所謂肉眼、慧眼、法眼、天眼、佛眼，在釋迦院之佛眼佛母又稱遍知眼、能寂母、一切如來寶。

佛眼佛母居於中台八葉蓮華胎藏之中，即佛眼佛母為大悲胎藏而生一切聖尊。

Buddha-locanī, also known as Gagana-locanī or "The Great Vajra Auspicious Mother of All Buddhas" (佛眼大金剛吉祥一切佛母), is a female deity in Vajrayana Buddhism. She is regarded as an emanation of Vairocana Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, or Vajrasattva, depending on various textual sources.

As the mother of all Buddhas, Buddha-locanī embodies the potential to give birth to all Buddhas, symbolizing the essence of the Prajñāpāramitā (the Perfection of Wisdom) in another aspect. She is inherently endowed with the virtues of all Buddhas. Within the Maha Karuna Garbha Mandala (Mandala of the Womb Realm of Great Compassion), Buddha-locanī resides in the Omniscience Court and the Shakyamuni Court.

In the Omniscience Court, she is regarded as the mother of Vairocana Buddha and is equated with the "Great Compassion Womb Store" (Maha Karuna Garbha). She possesses the "Five Eyes," which include the physical eye, wisdom eye, dharma eye, celestial eye, and Buddha eye.

In the Shakyamuni Court, Buddha-locanī is also referred to as the All-Knowing Eye (Sarva-jña Netra), the Mother of Tranquility (Shama-mata), and the Treasure of All Tathāgatas.

Buddha-locanī is situated within the central eight-petaled lotus of the Womb Mandala, symbolizing her role as the Great Compassion Womb that gives rise to all sacred beings.

佛眼佛母位於密教胎藏界曼荼羅，遍知院及釋迦院中的一尊，此尊乃般若中道妙智的神格化，具五眼，能出生金胎兩部諸佛、菩薩，為生佛部功德之母，故置於表般若一切智的遍知、釋迦二院中。又稱為「佛眼、佛眼尊、佛母尊、佛母身、佛眼部母、佛眼明妃、虛空眼明妃、虛空藏眼明妃、一切如來佛眼大金剛吉祥一切佛母」等。大日如來即“最高顯廣眼藏如來”，即佛眼佛母是也。佛眼佛母是大日如來或釋迦如來的神變，其密號是殊勝金剛，其功德甚大，在密教中，是佛部的部主。
Buddha-locanī is a deity positioned within the Taizōkai Mandala (Womb Realm Mandala) of Esoteric Buddhism, specifically in the Omniscience Court and the Shakyamuni Court. She represents the personification of the profound wisdom of Prajñāpāramitā’s middle path and is endowed with the Five Eyes: the physical eye, wisdom eye, dharma eye, celestial eye, and Buddha eye.

She possesses the ability to give rise to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas within both the Diamond and Womb Realms, making her the mother of the virtues of the Buddha Division. For this reason, she is placed in the two courts that symbolize the all-encompassing wisdom of Prajñā (Omniscience Court and Shakyamuni Court).

She is also known by various titles, including Buddha Eye, Buddha Eye Deity, Buddha Mother Deity, Body of the Buddha Mother, Mother of the Buddha Eye Division, Buddha Eye Consort, Sky Eye Consort, Akasha Eye Consort, and The Great Vajra Auspicious Mother of All Buddhas.

Vairocana Buddha, referred to as the "Supreme and Vast Eye Treasury Tathāgata," is identified as none other than Buddha-locanī herself. Buddha-locanī is considered a divine emanation of Vairocana Buddha or Shakyamuni Buddha, bearing the secret name Supreme Vajra (Shushō Vajra).

Her merits are immense, and in Esoteric Buddhism, she is regarded as the principal deity of the Buddha Division.
