How to Charge More for Video Shoots

I found a simple way to charge four to ten times for video shoots.

Several years ago, as a hired director/DP, I was only making $3k for a $200k project.

Why? Because I was several layers removed from the client.
The client spent 200k to hire an ad agency who hired a production company who hired a freelance producer who hired me. So I decided to level up to the production company and get as close to the client as possible.
