Building a chicken coop from pallets - Building our off-grid homestead in Central Portugal

This week Maarten build a chicken coop using mostly pallets we got for free. This is an important step towards being more self-sufficient. It only took some time, effort and puzzling. Hope you enjoy this special from Maarten :)

New here? My name is Lea and I live with my partner Maarten and our toddler Puck on our land in Central Portugal. We left the rat race in the Netherlands a little over a year ago, and moved south in our old campervan. We have recently bought land in Portugal that had been abandoned for several decades. Slowly we are cleaning the land and building our dream off-grid homestead from the ground up.
