Solar Willie Beef with Bass VI

1996 MIJ Fender Bass VI reissue played with Telefunken graphite pick through CAE/CAJ V-Comp tube compressor, BOSS PQ-3B bass parametric EQ, & Roland GO:MIXER PRO-X into iPhone

I only started listening to rock music when I moved to Japan in August 1982, a couple of months before my 12th birthday. I started with Wolfman Jack & Casey Kasem before graduating to the Beatles, but at some point a co-worker of my dad gave me a cassette with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers on one side (that's why he gave it to me), and FZ's Fillmore East on the other. He warned my dad that he might want to check it out first, but that didn't work. Anyway, this album obviously had a big effect on me, so I had to grab the box set when it came out today. I also happened to get my '96 reissue Fender Bass VI out of the case, so decided to play along.
