Double Protected Left Turns

Double Protected Left Turns whenever two lanes are constructed exclusively for left-turn traffic, the traffic controls are set up as "protected only" phasing, which means drivers can only turn left when the arrow is green. Allowing two lanes of traffic to turn "permissively" during a flashing yellow arrow or green light (in this case they mean the same thing) is prohibited because of safety concerns.
