We're often asked, "What is the cost of living in Brisbane like?" or "How expensive is Brisbane?" In this video, we discuss the cost of living in Brisbane, Australia. Some of the basics we cover include food, accommodation, transport, medical, eating out, going to the movies.... and the price of a beer!

We also briefly touch on the national minimum wage and the Australian median salary.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!

Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.

Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.

Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
