AgroBuzz: ‘A Conversation with the Minister'

Recently, a conference dubbed ‘A Conversation with the Minister’ was staged by the Jamaica 4-H Clubs at Shortwood Teachers' College in St. Andrew. The conference sought to raise awareness among teachers of agricultural science and nutrition of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries' Grow Smart, Eat Smart national campaign. The campaign is aimed at getting more Jamaicans to develop a protracted culture of practising food security and productivity through the use of increased technology and climate-resilient activities; as well as to eat more healthy local foods that they grow themselves.
