Radiuma: Medical Image Analysis Platform
Radiuma is a medical image analysis platform that streamlines imaging workflows by supporting independent tools and libraries for processing, analysis, and reproducible pipelines.
In this video, we demonstrate the Image Viewer module in Radiuma, a powerful visualization interface for examining, navigating, and analyzing medical images across multiple views. The Image Viewer supports axial, sagittal, coronal, and 3D visualization, allowing users to inspect medical imaging data with precision and flexibility.
This module helps clinicians and researchers explore complex medical images, review segmentation results, adjust visualization settings, measure anatomical distances, and analyze image intensity information within an intuitive multi-view environment.
How It Works:
• Load medical images in supported formats including NIFTI, DICOM files, DICOM directories, NRRD files, segmentation files, and RT structure files.
• Navigate images across axial, sagittal, coronal, and 3D views.
• Use synchronized crosshairs to localize the same anatomical point across multiple planes.
• Adjust contrast, brightness, window, and level settings to improve visualization of tissues and structures.
• Apply colormap customization to highlight specific regions or intensity patterns.
• Overlay multiple images with transparency control for comparison between modalities or timepoints.
• Use ruler tools to measure distances between anatomical structures.
• Access image metadata including dimensions, spacing, origin coordinates, and voxel intensity statistics.
• Create and refine segmentations using manual drawing, threshold-based segmentation, label creation, and eraser tools.
• Switch between volume and mask views in 3D to inspect both image data and segmentation results.
• Capture screenshots and reset the layout for efficient review and reporting.
