1+ Minute No sew 3D Filter Pocket Cloth Face Mask #Masks4all #omegafoldfacemask

Use what you have DIY 3-Layer Structured Cloth & Paper towel Face mask for immediate use while waiting for purchased surgical or better cloth face masks to arrive.

Different Video Format. After initial intro, a 1 minute 23 second overhead tutorial. If you are interested in making this mask, there is additional video content to answer most of your questions. Go to the Bottom of this description for a list of Frequently Asked Questions and time stamps to the part of the video which answers those questions.

Based on the #masks4all design by Jeremy Howard https://masks4all.co . The goal of the Masks4all initiative is to try provide 80% of the population with a non-medical facial covering to slow the spread of COVID-19 and help to safely reopen the economy.

Face masks are a part of a 4 point plan of hand hygiene, social distancing, face masks in crowded or indoor public spaces, and widespread testing with contact tracing.

For the Masks4all design, they recommend 2 layers of 100% cotton and 1 paper towel as a filter.

tems you will need (Most you can find at your office)
•100% Cotton T-shirt (Makes ~10 masks)
•11” wide paper towel (Bounty or other 2 ply kitchen towel)
•#19 Rubber Bands: 3 1/2” x 1/16” https://www.staples.com/Staples-Econo...
•Small Binder clips: 3/4” wide https://www.staples.com/Staples-Binde...
•Acetate Film 0.005 mil: 8.5”x11” or 9”x 12” (extra can be used to make face shields.) I looked some up and they are pretty expensive. They don't sell them in individual sheets, only packs of 20-100. So I don't want you guys to spend that, unless you plan to make face shields for donations or for your own business use when reopening up small businesses, such as the cashiers, or hairstylists/barbers. Workers who spend a lot of time within a couple of feet from customers.

Alternatives to the Acetate frame (using 3D printing to make a frame was not a viable option to reach everyone.)

•The goal is not to buy anything more than you need or want to. There must be some stiff, bendable material which you can find at home. Channel your inner MacGyver.

•A 2 liter bottle in theory could be cut into a long rectangular piece and punch holes in that
•Some junk mail actually uses pretty good plastic or laminated card material to make their advertisement stand out. You can use that and cut a strip to use. It will be hidden inside the mask anyway, so don't worry.

Tools:
•Large Scissors,
•Single Hole puncher- https://www.staples.com/Staples-10573...

That’s it.

Reusable parts:

You only make the “Frame” once and it can be used multiple times and disinfected using alcohol. Binder clips and rubber bands can be also be disinfected with alcohol.

Cloth will be hand washed during hand hygiene and air dried.

A new paper towel insert or filter material will be replaced between uses.
