Dr Kent Keith Message to PacRim Students

This message to students was Dr. Keith’s “farewell message” when he retired as President of Pacific Rim Christian University in June 2020. He discusses how the university is connected to three great traditions in Christian higher education—the first universities in the Middle Ages in Europe, the first colleges in America, and the Bible College movement. He acknowledges the importance of work as a way to help others and live one’s faith. However, he reminds students that a job is short term, while a relationship with the Lord is long term—very long term. He encourages students to go, confident in the Lord, loving and serving others, advancing the Kingdom of God each in their own way, listening to the Lord’s voice, and staying open to his call. If they do, they will be blessed, and they will be a blessing to others.
