Impossible Burger and Insane Vegan Dessert | Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai

We went to Black Tap in the Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel. The restaurant is really chilled out, good music and the staff are really laid back wearing their hats backwards... which is unusual for a 5 start hotel... and very much welcomed by myself!

This was my first time trying the Impossible burger. It's called the Impossible burger because it's 100% plant based, yet it looks and tastes EXACTLY like beef... I genuinely felt like they got my order wrong and I was eating meat. I couldn't recommend this burger more, especially if you're thinking about giving a plant based diet a try.

I'm not even going to begin to describe the dessert... from the thumbnail you can see what we're up against.

It was an expensive meal with the burgers being around AED 105 ($28 / £23) and the dessert not a lot cheaper. I'd say it's worth it for the experience

By the way - Jumeirah Al Naseem... amazing! Such a beautiful hotel. It's part of Madinat and overlooks the world famous Burj Al Arab. If you're in the city you should check it out.
