Who Is Rupert Murdoch?

Rupert Murdoch is one of those famous figures that everyone talks about but not everyone may not know about. He has become a huge deal in the news world and by many standards he is the definition of success. He was born in Australia but then moved to America where he built an empire that few alive can truly compete with. The issue is that the empire he built is one of the most controversial in American history. His news stations have been mired in controversy the entire time. It has been a hot button issue for the last several decades, ending Murdoch’s association with his own business in a sea of hate.

Still, Rupert Murdoch has still made billions of dollars with his news empire. That means that while people may hate him, justifiably or not, he is still able to make a ton of purchases that are truly ridiculous. He has a real estate empire that is everything you’d want it to be. He also has a professional car collection worthy of his station.

He’s also made giant purchases that only someone like him can make. Huge yachts, private jets, and similar pieces of distinction.

If you look at his life, you’ll see that he is CLEARLY the basis for Logan Roy from Succession. Even if he thinks of himself more like John Dutton from Yellowstone. Not that there’s a huge difference between the two.
