Filmic Pro vs Protake Tutorial - Best Camera Apps to Film Your iOS and Android Videos

Two great apps for iOS and Android video are Filmic Pro and Protake. But which one would be the better choice to film your online courses? Recently, FiLMiC Pro revealed their 10-bit SDR capture capability and a new LogV3 gamma profile that can give you the option for maximum dynamic range of your mobile device and elevated color grading ability. Because of these 10-bit options for filmmakers, FiLMiC Pro is often considered the ideal camera app for iOS and Android devices.
And when it comes to Protake, this app has amazing manual controls including focus, ISO, shutter speed, exposure, and visual analytics. Protake also offer a great log option for better color grading and also supports 1.33 Anamorphic lenses and a powerful AUTO camera mode for when you want to shoot video quickly.

A word of caution before downloading the Protake app. Some users have experienced issues with usability after downloading Protake and have voiced their concerns here on my channel. I have no way to verify or diagnose these issues. Furthermore, there seems to be no options of contacting customer support for such issues as far as I am aware. However, my experience thus far has been seamless, and I continue to enjoy using the app. Nonetheless, before signing up for a subscription, please be aware that contacting the app developer or customer support may be an issue.
