Update Rooted Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL to January Update [patched boot.img][fastboot]

Happy New Year, 2020's new video is here! Today we'll be updating our rooted Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL using the factory images and Magisk Manager to patch the stock boot.img, sinc TWRP isn't working very well anymore.

If you get stuck at the G logo after 10:09, run these adb commands:
adb wait-for-device shell 'magisk --remove-modules'

Remember to backup and ask questions!

07:42 Reboot into Bootloader
08:01 fastboot devices
08:15 fastboot flash bootloader
08:33 fastboot reboot bootloader
08:46 fastboot flash radio
09:11 fastboot --skip-reboot update

[Re-Root]
09:59 fastboot flash boot

[Finish]
10:09 Reboot to Android
