Columbus police use pepper spray to disperse crowd protesting death of George Floyd

The Columbus Division of Police used pepper spray Thursday night to break up a group of people in the streets of downtown Columbus protesting the death of George Floyd.

Floyd, who died in Minneapolis police custody this week, was restrained by an officer who dug his knee into his neck.

The group of protesters was gathered in the area of 750 E. Long Street before they were met by police blocking the road at Broad and High Streets.
