Michelle Obama as Joe Biden’s VP would make the election a ‘lay down Misère’

Former advisor to President Bill Clinton, Barbara Heineback, has told Sky News Joe Biden has no strength to point to in his decades long career, and his weakening cognitive ability will really hurt him in the election.

The former vice president and presumptive Democratic nominee for President Joe Biden is currently leading in most national polls by up to 15 per cent.

However, questions have been raised throughout the media as to Mr Biden’s cognitive function given his advanced age, which has raised the anticipation surrounding his running mate choice more so than in previous elections.

“Biden’s pluses are the fact that Democrats … they want Trump out no matter what. His other strong strength is the fact that he has most of national media behind him,” Ms Heineback told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“He also has these lapses of memory and his cognitive abilities are really weakening”.

Mr Kenny said although she has declined to involve herself on Mr Biden’s ticket, former First Lady Michelle Obama is a chance to Mr Biden’s vice presidential nomination.

“I reckon they put Michelle Obama on that ticket, and it is a laydown misere,” he said.
