Christians stayed in the War zone to help feed the IDF soldiers - CFI tells their story

Our team went to Kiryat Shmona in the north of Israel close to the Lebanese border to visit people who have been badly affected by the impacts of rockets and the war. We visited a congregation that was under fire by a rocket. Shrapnel from the rocket went through the wall of their building and it was a miracle that nobody got hurt.

This congregation started cooking for soldiers after the war broke out last year and their ministry was a huge blessing to many. We talked with soldiers who came for food and had very meaningful conversations with them. They have hard work to do as their job is to bring the bodies of fellow soldiers out of the battlefield.

We were so thankful for the opportunity to bless them and encourage them. They told us: "We came for physical food, but we also got spiritual food."

We at Christian friends of Israel believe that a friend loves at all times and a brother is born to help in a time of adversity (Proverbs 17:17).
There is a great need right now for all of Israel's true friends to come alongside her and to show support to the people of Israel - through prayer, advocacy and financial support.
