Cooking it on such thicker than many other styles in the area may produce unique characteristics which distinguish this slice of Americana pizza; and its toppings typically consisting of tomato sauce, green bell pepper slices and peppercorn salami along with yellow American cheese is controversially controversial!

American cheese on pizza has long been the subject of heated discussion, with some individuals suggesting it doesn't belong in an Altoona-style pizza as an actual form of cheese - yet its use adds something unique and delicious: melting perfectly across its other components to form a creamy gooey texture that makes this pizza irresistibly irresistible!
