How to Flat Iron: Without Damaging Results

In this video tutorial I will show you how I flat iron my hair with care so I don't compromise the integrity of my hair with damaging results. You will need:

-a paddle brush
-a soft bristle brush
-a clip
-a blowdryer
-a flat iron
-heat protectant + leave in conditioner (I'm using It's a 10! Keratin Leave In)
- smoothing product of your choice (I'm using Paul Mitchell Supper Skinny & Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Hydromist Blow-out Spray)

Apply your heat protectant + leave in conditioner to damp hair, all over. Then using my smoothing product-Supper Skinny, I'm going to pump a nickel amount into my palm and emulsify it with my hands and apply to the middle-to-ends of my hair. Keep it away from your scalp until you've applied it to your ends, this will keep a build up of product off your scalp and help it to not get oily. Then using my Hydromist I'm going to spray this to my crown and sides of my hair, this creates volume. Watch my video to find out what to do next :)
