Making Pinch Pots (Pt. 1) | easy air drying clay, relaxing pinch pot DIY

Hey everyone!

This is my first time using air dry clay to make pinch pots. I took pottery classes in high school and felt the urge to work with my hands and make some pots. I'm going to try to use some for succulents but since it's air dry clay, it probably shouldn't get wet, but it should be fine...hopefully lol.

It takes 3 days to dry so in pt. 2 I will be painting them!

(when they're dry and finished I would consider them to be close to the "bone dry" stage in pottery, so they aren't as durable as kiln fired clay and could break easily)

I used the cheapest clay I saw on Amazon, less than $10, because I wasn't sure how the air dry clay would be. I actually really liked working with this clay, working with it feels just like any clay. Malleable and easy to work with. But next time I think I will try out a different kind.
