There's NO "Just" With Weight Loss | Weight Loss Motivation Speech
My friends I see this all the time.
People underestimating what they're up against when they want to lose weight and live healthier.
They think that they "just" need to exercise more, eat more whole foods, sleep better, etc.
Only, it's not a "just". Each one of these things can have a HUGE impact on their lives. It could 5-10x their daily energy. It could help them skip a health scare and months of hospitalization. It could save them from spending 5, 10 years being disabled. It could pay off in years of life, enjoying your family, being active and up on your feet, traveling the world.
But I know why they say "I JUST need to do X, Y, Z." It's because it's easy to do these things. It's really easy. Millions of people improve their diet and exercise. It's easy! Anybody could do that.
But you know what is not easy? Truly changing your norm. Making these new healthy behaviors your new norm. Not just STRAYING from your norm by doing these behaviors but actually RESTRUCTURING your norm.
And that's why so many people gain the weight back or quit exercise after they start or just find it really hard to create a good routine.
STRAYING from the norm is easy. CHANGING the norm is hard.
Don't underestimate what you're up against.
