This is part two out of a series of videos that analyses the Matrix's themes, philosophies, story, film making and design choices.

It does so with reference to a view and argument posited by the New York Times ambivalent reception of this movie who called for Action films to be simple / dumbed down.

One of the criticisms levied at the Matrix was that the film was too dense and philosophical.

This video in addition to the first, tries to unveil some of its beauty and in-depth substance with a view to showing and making the case that action movies should still remain ambitious and not fear reaching meaningful depths in its movie.
