In 1980 The Sons of the Desert, The Official Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society held their 2nd International Convention. Celebrities from the Hal Roach Studios attended. Actors & actress's, technicians and those that made the films at Hal Roach Studios were met by fans from all over the U.S. and Europe. This film was shot by" Sons" member Marcia and edited by "Sons" member Gary. And the great Pie Fight was held on a high school football field. 99 degree weather, 1000 pies, and lots of Laurel and Hardy fans in the middle of it! Enjoy
