Meet Mathurshan, Rajeevan & Sujeevan, founders of AgGen technologies, an agricultural enterprise that builds and provides technology-based agriculture like aquaponics and hydroponics. AgGen team introduced the concept of hydroponics to promote cultivation of crops within the urban areas. Through the installation of a zero commitment, automatic home gardening system provided by AgGen, residents of urban areas will be able to sow and reap fresh organic vegetables. AgGen technologies recent project included introducing the technology to rural areas and establish polytunnel cultivation to empower farmers, improve their yield and build a sustainable livelihood for them.

Rajeevan says, the evolution from being just an idea to well established agricultural enterprise, was achievable through the support of UNDP Sri Lanka. The enterprise progressed to the next stages with the passionate contribution of CurveUp by providing an impact driven coaching, through the HackaDev Enterprise Support Programme established by the UNDP. Going forward, AgGen team wishes to expand their research and experimenting into cultivating more native and non-native crops using their technology-based agricultural systems to elevate the economy.
Small & Medium Scale Enterprises (SME) are the backbone of our economy. CurveUp is currently working with HackaDev Enterprise Support Programme powered by UNDP, to empower selected young, rural, social, micro, and macro entrepreneurs by providing them with coaching, mentoring and necessary training to build and establish their enterprises. And here we are, kindly inviting YOU; together we can be a gigantic force, together we can be much stronger, together we can rebuild and together we can succeed as one nation! Let's do our part for our country, for our economy and for our fellow Sri Lankans.
