Classic WoW Is Being Held Hostage

Turtle WoW just confirmed it. May 14th, 2026. After 8 years, servers go dark. Stormforge is closing the same day. Everlook is gone. Project Epoch's original team was forced to walk away. Four major private servers hit in under a year.
This video isn't about server populations or court rulings. It's about what's really happening to the community that loved the original World of Warcraft enough to keep it alive when the company that owns it moved on.
Valve embraced Counter-Strike and DOTA. Bethesda built their legacy on modding. Jagex created Old School RuneScape because players asked for it. Blizzard chose lawsuits.
The old developers built a world out of passion. The community kept it alive for twenty years. And now a corporation that didn't create what we love is telling us we can't have it anymore.
This one's for everyone who ever logged into a private server and called it home.
