Obviously the most controversial intro is Enterprise. Since its a none score intro, and based on song made for another film. Each reflecting the times of the TV shows and the tone it was trying to convey. Enterprise had two intros, one with a slow paced song, the other with fast pace annoying drumming lol. But one thing I noticed is each intro is incredibly themed. With Enterprise, I think alot of people missed the point the intro was trying to make. Since this show was about the beginning of Star Trek, the intro was trying to be profound and serious, try to give us a step back and see how far humanity has come. Basically the song was trying to make this intro personal. Even part from the song, the visuals did this too. In my opinion is one of the best made intros of Star Trek. Sure a instrumental score can do this too, but I think Enterprise was trying to be different also. And I can respect that. In addition I dont mind making changes, as long as theres a point to it. The show should of stood its ground about the intro, but fans requested a more upbeat intro, and the studio (not implementing the request well) gave us this crap, the second intro to Enterprise.
