Metal Detecting On A Warm Winter's Day

Today Jim and I explore and metal detect a large farm in the Shenandoah Valley in search of old homesites or camping areas from the American Civil War. We spend about a good day checking fields and wood lots. We did find some evidence of soldiers on the property and I even managed to find a nice old coin.
