High Falls County Park

I recently discovered that Oconee and Pickens counties in South Carolina have campgrounds. We stayed in High Falls County Park in early March. Part of the campground was closed for the winter. We were able to stay late enough on Sunday for most of the sites to be empty. Overall, it is a very nice campground. It is well maintained. The waterfront views are good. They even have Putt-Putt!
The only issues I have with the sites are the retaining walls that don’t have steps (it would be easy to come out of an RV and step off the edge) and the power and water hookups. Most sites in this campground will require at least one extension cord or hose.
