What is "The Force" in The Legend of Zelda? (Zelda Theory)

The Force is a broad term referenced in the Hyrule Historia which applies to the Legend of Zelda franchise, but what is this so called "force?" Similar to The Force in Star Wars, the Force in The Legend of Zelda is an energy that resides within all living things, and turns out to be synonymous to the Life Force which plays a critical role in Phantom Hourglass with Bellum.
