Today we spent an amazing day in Mombasa with the BEAUTIFUL Khawaii from the African Food Trade! Khawaii is a native-born and bred Mombas-ian (Yup I made that up lol), who is an expert in Swahili culture, food and heritage. The food was absolutely delicious and varied! And we were able to get an authentic feel of what it would be like to live in this part of Kenya! In fact, we've fallen for the coast so much that we are seriously considering staying!
