10 Anesthesia Scenarios for Beginning Anesthesia Students
In a perfect world, there are no problems. As we are all now acutely aware, we have problems aplenty. This video is aimed at beginning anesthesia students (med students, CRNA students, anyone in ICU care). I present 10 problems requiring some fixing. In the video I provide a pause for you yourself to come up with the "resolution" to the problem before I tell you. Take advantage of that pause! Active learning (trying to figure it out yourself, who cares if you guess wrong!) is far better than passive learning (sitting there and waiting for me to say what to do). So put on your thinking cap and think away! In honor of everyone wearing their thinking cap, I have for a thumbnail a picture of ME wearing all hats I tend to wear in the Sim Center. Enjoy!
