Original wax caps vs. recapped Hammond B3 sound comparison

In this video we will compare the sound of a 1959 Hammond B3 and Leslie 122 with a 1961 Hammond A102 and Leslie 147. The A 102 is completely original and has its original wax tone generator capacitors. The B3 has new capacitors from Tonewheel General and its preamp has been refreshed with new capacitors, resistors, tubes etc. Rather than mic each Leslie separately, I placed one mic at normal and equal hearing distance from both Leslies -- approximately where the player's head is. I tried to equalize the volume by using the same volume setting on each Leslie and similar pedal settings on the organ. Not scientific perhaps but this is just for fun. Before recapping, the B3 had muffled highs and a lot of inconsistencies in volume. now it is quite consistent across the spectrum. Surprisingly, the A 102, while only two years newer, still sounds consistent and balanced. Turned up, both organs are marvelous, but I kept the volume down to take distortion out of the equation. Some -- or much of the difference may lie in the Leslie speakers -- 122 vs 147, the 122 early 70s and the 147 early eighties. Let me know what you think.
