FAQ:

Q: Does it work in Bedrock Edition ?
A: No, but some people adapted it, see comments.

Q: What versions/Editions does it work on ?
A: Java Edition from 1.12 up to 1.15.2. There is a fix for the MC 1.16+ though (link above).

Q: Minecart won't pick up/give back items.
A: It doesn't work on Forge (mods) or servers with plug-ins (Spigot, etc.) *only* Vanilla. Might work on Paper.

Q: Minecart won't go when I put just a few items.
A: You need an input system, watch the Fix/Upgrade videos (links above) .

Q: The non-stackable items inside the Minecart are out of order (First slot not free)
A: Watch the Fix video (also mentioned in the tutorial itself).

Q: Some Items go to the end of the sorter line instead of where I configured them to go!
A: Watch the Fix video (links above).

Most people benefit from watching the tutorial twice (there are too many details!) and don't skip parts, I get too many questions about things I have already mentioned in the video!

If your build is not working your first action should be to download the official map and test it. I assure you it's working fine and I have built it in survival myself successfully without any changes, so if it works for you it means you need to apply some fixes, so go watch the Fix video!

In any case make sure all your dropper latches have a single item inside them and that the detector rails used as reset lines are powering every comparator at the bottom and the rails are all going in the correct direction. Good luck!

Tutorial for my multi-item sorting system (MISS), the Categorizer. Not as fast as my previous system but definitely simpler and practical with each slice being only 1-wide and able to to create individual categories for up to 50 different items.

This version of the system is based on a project by Elmer Lingestal with further additions by Kindalas (not shown in this video) and myself.

I might work on Version 2 eventually depending on your feedback but I also plan on making a separate video discussing all the things I've learned from working with MISS.
PS: New map now includes a non-stackable item filter.
