The Time-Proved Soyuz
300 millions HP make the 300 tons weighing rocket fueled with oxygen and kerosene lift off the ground. The speed is increasing and reaching the first space velocity -- 8 km per second. Not longer than an instant later there is only seen a small shining spot. Soyuz has 9 minutes of the flight to weightlessness ahead. The climax of the rocket's lifetime is brief, yet striking.
