Mario & Splatoon Theory - Are They Set In The SAME WORLD?

In today's mario/game theory we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history of splatoon and super mario bros to see if the two worlds are connected. Tomorrow the new splatoon 2 will be out for the nintendo switch and in a couple of months we will also have super mario odyssey, so now is the best time. The first game was a huge hit on the wii u and they took a ton of inspiration from the mario games. However there are a number things that link these two worlds like the blooper enemy seen in super mario galaxy, super mario 3d world, super mario sunshine and more. Also many other things work out just right for example with the metro kingdom and mushroom kingdom. So let's see if this crossover theory is really possible!
