Welcome to Vivid Iceland's first miniseries! We travelled to Skaftafell, an area of pristine natural beauty located in southeast Iceland. Famous for its glaciers, mountains and frigid lagoons - we spent a few days exploring this rugged, adventurer's paradise and came back with some incredible footage.
The first part of this miniseries focuses on Falljökull, an outlet glacier originating from the Vatnajökull ice cap – the largest ice cap in Europe. We stroll through the glacial moraine, crevasse fields and finally into the ice fall of this ice giant.
